Hi all, nice to meet u all, I found site just a cpl of days ago and luv it, I've yet fished a river,I've read loads, talked to my neighbours who fish Arley and other parts of the seven quite often and always tell me there is nothing like it. I did some yrs ago when i was a kid but thats it. Hope to get my 1st taste after xmas, if petrol allows, lol. I come from stourbridge and mainly fish a few select small pools and canals. The cut is hard but worth the work when I catch a good fish. Well anything you like to ask just feel free, tight lines, chris.
Hi all, very new to river fishing(haven't done any since being a kid, but hope to very soon),been reading as much as i can. A few of my neighbours n friends go river fishing and it sounds fantastic. I only found this site a few days ago and it captivated me straight away. I come from stourbridge and mainly fish small pools and the canals.

Hi chris. Nice to have a new angler starting proper fishing!! Lol. Its been slow recently with the downturn in temps etc but should pick up as they get used to it being chilly. You won't need much petrol to get from Stourbridge to some of the best spots on the river. I'll show you some places in the new year. Cheers

Hi tim, thanks for the welcome, i've really enjoyed the site so far, better than the usual coarse fishing stuff i read, lots more excitin. I don't mind the cold at all so hopefully a few whiskers will get used to it so i can learn how to really fish, lol. Lookin forward the the advice on places to fish, thanks again, chris.
