Fished the power station water and had 7 between my mate and I. We fished about 4 hours on 2x8mm pellets! Lost another 4 due to crap Korum hooks!

Have fished ironbridge (well coalbrookdale)at the ironbridge fishery a few times in the last couple of weeks, its been better but it is producing fish, must have averaged 3/4 fish per session plus chub, dace etc. Best fish probably around 6lbs this season which is disapointing as i had much larger fish from this venue last year. 2 8mm hair rigged pellets and maggots seems to do the trick, never have any luck fishing here with soft pellets or bands, anyone else experienced this??? keep meaning to try other spots around the ironbridge area but keep going back to the ironbridge fishery as i always seem to catch there.

Is that anywhere near where they have done all the so called 'improvement' work? I used to fish there on a regular basis, but last time I went and saw that lot, I had a real shock. Now it is only good for those pesky canoeists. Needless to say, I don't go there anymore. Such a shame as a wonderful venue has been totally spoilt!
Whoever said nothing is impossible, never tried slamming a revolving door!
